After his van breaks down in Florida, a job-hating vanlifer must find a way to earn money in order to realize his dream of driving to Jamaica
Synopsis
Arlo is a vanlifer and seasonal wilderness guide in Alaska who hears of a bridge that extends from Florida to the islands. Though resourceful, he is not the brightest bulb on the tree, and is unaware that the Florida Keys exist. So, he plans to cross the bridge to Jamaica.
When he reaches Florida, his van breaks down and he ends up at a repair shop where the mechanic informs him that there is no bridge to Jamaica, and that his van must be repaired or else it will be virtually undrivable.
With no money for repairs, Arlo meets with hiring managers for any job that will interview him. Rather than taking any of the jobs, he sells a bag of llama beans given to him by
one of his interviewees, a llama fertilizer company, to a drunk frat boy. It is enough money to pay for his van and continue on his way.
