Shane Bryan, the actor who plays Arlo, has also been a professional wrestler.
The bag of llama beans that Arlo smells during his interview was, in fact, filled with actual llama poop.
One gallon was bought to be used in the film.
The lighting of the interviews was designed to resemble a police interrogation due Arlo's disdain of regular jobs.

Due to the film's Jamaican theme, brown stew chicken was served for lunch. It was wildly popular.
The beef stick that the Lifeguard Interviewer eats was Dr. Pepper flavored.
The bathing scene, which was shot in the parking lot at Full Sail University, was shot on a Sunday to avoid traffic.
Though the name of Arlo's van in the film is Miss Charlotte Boone, the actual van that director T.J. Wichmann did his vanlifing in is referenced in the credits: "RIP, Murphy, 2018 (Canton, MA) - 2023 (Boone, NC)".
