(Winter Park, FL) - World traveler and adventurer, T.J. Wichmann, has recently shifted his time and energy to more creative endeavors. His film Corporate Man in a Van opens at Maitland's renowned Enzian Theatre on Thursday to what is expected to be a packed house.

"I had accumulated so many experiences during my travels," Wichmann said at a recent filmmaking conference. "My imagination was bursting with ideas to build off of those experiences, and I could no longer restrain myself from creating,"

Wichmann's first attempt at filmmaking was inspired by the time he spent three years traveling the country as a van lifer. He packed everything he owned into a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, and traveled from coast to coast, sleeping in temperatures that ranged from 22 to 102-degrees Fahrenheit. Though thankful for the experience, he's not sure he would add another three years to the journey.

"I think it's time to settle a bit," he said. "If my creative ideas run empty, that would be the time to head out again."

The film screening begins at 12:30 p.m., with a brief Q&A session to follow. The event is free to the public.
